Praise The Lord!

For those of you who have doubts about God I encourage you to keep reading this.

Taya has an optic glioma tumor. It is a tumor that sits on the optic nerve, and all the nerves surround the eye. Nearly all the people who have this type of tumor are blind, or have severe vision impairment. All the doctors that have seen Taya's MRI' s all agreed that the most likely can't see anything out of her right eye and probably have some vision impairment in her left eye. But today we got WONDERFUL news. About two weeks ago Taya got a vision and hearing test done to see where she stands in those areas. In hearing she had a very small abnormality. The Dr. said she has a little bit of a delayed response to very quiet sounds such as whispers. In vision the test, the test came back 100% NORMAL!! Let me say that again, THE TEST CAME BACK 100% NORMAL!!! She can see perfectly fine! The Dr's are puzzled and can not explain why she can see. They have looked at the MRI's and vision tests over and over again and said if you were to look at the MRI you would say this child is blind, but not Taya! Praise Jesus!
Ever since we have found out about this tumor my whole family has been praying for a miracle. And we got one!!!! Thank you soooooo sooooo sooooo much to every one who has been praying for our little girl. We are in debt to all of you. In the words of my mother, " Keep praying prayer warriors, we won the battle tonight". We know it was all of your prayers that lead to this miracle. I don't even know what to say. I am so incredibly happy and thankful! I am at a loss of words for what has happened tonight. God is so powerful, great, wonderful, amazing, merciful, and perfect! We love you so much Lord. Thank you!

OUR PRAYER TONIGHT: Dear heavenly Father, Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for saving Taya's vision. We are in tears as we see you performing miracles right in front of us. Prayer for Today

Taya has had a bit of a set back, her catheter has come out and unfortunately means that she will be having another surgery today to replace it. Our little one has already been through so much I can't imagine her having to go through another surgery. Our prayer for today is that this time the surgery will be effective and that she does well with this surgery. We pray that her little body stays strong and fights every rock that is thrown in her path.

Feeling Hopeful

Today John and I woke up feeling hopeful and happy. We believe that we have all our supporters to thank for that. All the people praying for our daughter and family really help us cope through this tragic time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support. Like I said before, they help more then you know.
Now most of you probably don't know Taya's current condition. She has a tumor in the middle of her brain. Its sitting right on a lot of optical nerves, specifically behind her right eye. The Dr.s think that she can no longer see out of her right eye. They do believe that she can see out of her left eye. Which we are really thankful for. People with this particular type of tumor are usually blind. Both John and I have come to terms that she will most likely be blind in the future. We pray that is the only affect the tumor will have on our baby girl. My husband and I were talking yesterday about the day we found out our little angel had a tumor. We took her into the opthemologist thinking that the worst case would be that the Dr. tell us that our daughter would be blind. Now that is what we are praying for.
Our little girl seems completely normal except for her shaking eyes. You would never know that our baby girl has cancer. By God's grace she is no pain. Please continue to keep our precious angel in your prayers and thoughts.
OUR ORAYER TODAY: Dear heavenly father. Please help our family get through another day. Help our baby girl in every way possible. We love you Lord and we need you now more then ever. We draw close to you in our time of suffering. Save our baby girl. Make her feel no pain. FORCE the chemo to be effective on this tumor. Don't let our Taya suffer. We ask this is Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

Prayers For Taya

Taya Rae Carmody was born on June 3rd, 2011 and her parents John and Morgan Carmody were recently told that she has a tumor in her brain in a location that is inoperable. Their emotional and long journey of doctors, decisions, and seeing their precious baby girl go through this has just begun. So this page is for all of you out there for any prayers and words you would like to say to them. Any prayers you may have are greatly appreciated and accepted with open arms and hearts.
